Let me hear it...

I forgot to mention in the previous post that I am always looking to hear from people about what they think of Troy. What they think is positive. And more importantly, what they think we need to improve upon.

My entire team would love to hear from you, drop us a line at info@harry4troy.com and I will be sure to get back to you.

Have a great Wednesday.

Harry

Welcome To The Campaign Trail

Welcome to what I believe will be one of the most enjoyable aspects of the upcoming campaign for Mayor. I'm going to blog. Why not? Everyone else seems to be doing it.

We have just under 100 days left until the election, and I am very excited. As an elected official, I head into work every morning with one thing in mind- I want to do what is right. I want to do what is best for the City of Troy, and if I can do that each day, I am fulfilling the duties I was entrusted with by the people of Troy in November of 2003.

The way I see this blog unfolding is pretty simple- I'd like to update it as often as possible, usually in the evenings. While I will be talking over the next three plus months about the campaign, I will spend the majority of the time talking about the City of Troy. I love this place, and I am very proud of what has happened in the past three plus years of this administration.

So I look at this as just another way of getting out the word about the City. Each week I post a column on the City of Troy website about things happening in the City. I look at this as an extension of that, a place to be more personal, to delve a little deeper into issues, and often give some insight into what it is like talking to people about Troy each and every day. After all, that is my job- 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I want to thank you for stopping by and taking a look. Be sure to check out the progress section of the site, it's in the process of being updated, but the basis is there. There is a lot happening in Troy and on November 6th I am asking for you support to help continue this great revitalization we all want to see through to the end.

Thanks again

Harry
